In no way was I accusing anyone of doctoring bats. These bats are stupid out of the wrapper. I know for a fact the bat I got hit with is nothing more than a bat that has reached its breaking in period. You all are overlooking the point that was trying to be made. I read on message boards every weekend where pitchers are getting hit. Just from last week there was one guy who received a skull fracture and one that was revived on the field from a line drive in the chest. I can tell you one thing I do not wish that upon anybody especially any of you that I have met through softball over the years. We all just need to police ourselves and by the sounds by some thats not going to happen. Might it be ignorance or just plain immaturity I dont know. I can promise you all something you will not see me shoot middle in USSSA with these bats. Id rather not reach base than to watch a fellow ballplayer laid out on the mound I mean we all do this for fun. I had to laugh when I saw the post about Florida.I mean Cmon whats the temp difference between Fl and New England never mind the humidity. I can guarantee you that the balls are coming off faster than down south. I can also tell you that this will not keep me off the mound so if I get hit so be it there is no other place Id rather be killed than on a softball field.
