I know this may be a touchy subject for some but you know me I have to speak my mind. After returning to the mound after a two year layoff I know these bats are getting worse. We all need to remember we are all friends and we have our families to go home to after and its getting to the point now that someone is going to get seriously hurt. Years back it was commom to get into middle wars is it a smart thing to do with these bats? I mean granted its going to happen but for teams (including mine) to shoot middle all game is absolutely ignorant with these bats. You mark my word before the year is out a pitcher will get seriously hurt in the rochester league if this keeps happening. Yes in the past I have said its part of the game which it is but I guess it comes down to being respectfull of others and there families. The stuff I saw this weekend was uncalled for from all of us including myself. We all need to step up and Police the game and our teamates. I heard someone yell out loud this weekend after they hit middle that they were trying to take Jonesy head off. This shit needs to stop and the players themselves need to stop it. Yes I got hit yesterday and to tell you the truth Im glad it happened. It gave me a wake up call and made me realize that all it takes is one line drive to the chest or the head. Now stop and think how you as a person would feel if you were the one with the bat in your hand. ENUUF SAID. I have no hard feelings towards Soupy at all shit he has been shooting me for years LOL thats were he hits but to say you didnt mean to go middle is a crock of shit Soupa. Hey at least you got me some ice LOL. Mimidean13 got iced by Soupy By the way Im fine a little swelling and bruising. Ill be back Wed nite hopefully right back on the mound. All in all great weekend had fun. I didnt get to see all the teams but the ones I saw were legitt C teams. Enviro is a great team. Collins will be right in the mix and the team who impressed me the most was Travis team Prescott metal. Looks like young guys who hit and run like gazzeles.
