I read your posting about finding your calling. I know EXACTLY how you feel. As hard as it is teaching in an urban setting with kids who'd rather get high than read Shakespeare, I know I am in the right place at the right time. I had doctor friend tell me she just had the same feeling during her third year rotation. and she said it was better than drugs. : ) and nearly as good as sex. I agree. I love LOVE teaching. No matter how much I whine about the kids. Just one good day and I've had a good year! : ) Keep up the good works!!
