shoot I wonder if they really believe what they wrote?
"Also, horse slaughter is illegal in California and I don't need to hear from you about the dangers of adopting him out to someone who will sell him for meat ... there's no market for horse meat ... unless someone is going to put him in their own freezer (yuck) and I have no way to control that possibility. Feel free to take him home and find him a good home yourself if you don't agree."
