I have an AQHA broodmare that I would like to find a good home with a breeder. Her name is Justa Country Gal (aka Cupcake) AQHA #2442046, foaled 1986, grey but was foaled a red dun with four socks and a blaze, stands a measured 14.3hh. Cupcake has AQHA points in western pleasure and trail for both open and amateur. This mare is still breeding sound and in excellent shape. I have had no reproductive problems breeding her and she just went through a strong foal heat. Very sweet natured, kind, easy to handle, excellent for the vet, was a beautiful mover and produces her disposition. She is crippled, is not ridable, pasture sound only and does well just keeping her current with basic care (ex. feet trimmed every 7 weeks, occasional front shoes during summer, fed well and plenty of turnout or on pasture). She has had 5 foals and just foaled on the 23rd of January. Unfortunately we had to euthanize the foal due to a freak health problem. Expert vets (UC Davis, etc.) have assured me that it was a one in a million occurrence and there would be no problem with future foals. She is ready to breed back or can wait until later this spring. I love this mare and just want her to go to someone else that would give her a good home and where she can be usable.
