Sunday Night:

Gillette Tech razor (gold, thick handle)
Treet Dura Sharp blade

Ever-Ready badger brush
Valobra Shave Stick (converted into a cake)

Lather made in a bowl, as always.

Thayer's Peach Witch Hazel, blended with a bit of lather and massaged into the skin.

The Ever-Ready brush has a knot of only around 15 - 16 mm with a loft of up to 55 mm. The handle is fairly tall, however, to provide a comfortable grip. The loft is sparse and very floppy, but it lathers in a bowl with great efficiency. The smaller brushhead also results in less waste of soap and lather for this neckshaver.

The SS/Rapira combo is a good one, very smooth and comfortable. The shave was excellent, I may not need one tomorrow. I haven't had a day off work in a while, I'm looking forward to a long weekend.

COLD aftershave. Larry, you'd like it. PUt the Dirty bird brush scuttle aside for the time being. I like the warm, but don't need both that and the bowl sitting on the sink.

I shaved at work this morning for a change. The EJ products are great but the brush was more prickly than I remembered. Definitely more fun than a shower shave!
