Larry, glad to hear this shave went better. I've never been a fan of Merkur razors, having found them rather aggressive. In all fairness, however, I haven't used one for 5 years.

An excellent shave! I decided to use a boar brush today after reading a mirror of Zach's Beginner's Guide to Boar Brushes article over at the Shave Nook. Yet another example of his very informative insights and fine writing style. The article still generates a great deal of interest, questions and commentary long after it's original posting online. Zach, you are now world famous, at least among the wetshaving community, and rightly so.
