All of the talk about Micromatics motivated me to dust off the Bullet Tip over the weekend. I shaved with it Saturday and again this morning. I am getting great results with the stainless steel blades. I've got some carbon steel blades that I will try next.

I shaved carefully with the bullet tip today; I can take pics if you like but here's the thing: for the N-S pass, holding the bullet point is like holding any other razor; nothing special. When you go S-N, and you grip it upside down, holding the razor by the top of the round of the bullet is a good grip, makes sense. But the N-S with the G-bar, with the angled bottom flare resting between the ring finger and the middle finger, that my friend for me is the best grip in shavedom.

I hold the bullet tip like this; it's a good grip as well

the bullet tip excels at the upside down pass, grip wise
you can't see the bullet but the grip is right over it, and the bulbous shape prevents slip
