Windy here too in NY!
I have a friend who I was chatting with, we spoke about shaving; he uses Edge and the 5 blade Gillette, and does many passes; his neck is all torn up and irritated; I feel the need to shop at the shoebox now; too bad they don't make SE razors any more

There is the Cobra Classic that uses the Feather blades. That is the only current production single edge I can think of.

At least the used Gem models seem to be fairly easy to find. If he wants one let me know. I'm sure I have a spare one laying around here somewhere.
