Andy, what's your shaving MO? Bowl or face lather? In the past, some find that the trumper violet, brush swirl in pot straight to face, can cause irritation; also if lather up in a bowl but there's still some purple in the lather when you bring it to your face; for them the answer seems to have been more water more meringue less paste, and paint on soap.

Try switching from florals with Fragrance Oils to florals with Essential Oils (ie - Connaught luxury shave creams). Most FO's irritate my skin but EO's do not --Previous Message-- : I love floral creams - lavender, rose. I've very non-sensitive, thick skin. Still I've found mild burning when using T&H Rose SC. Also high-menthol products - Osage Rub - burn me more than they cool me initially. --Previous Message-- : I love floral creams - lavender, rose. My recommendation is to read the contents of the creams carefully and see if there is one that does not irritate does it feature a particular chemical or is there one absent when it does not irritate. --Previous Message-- : I love floral creams - lavender, rose.
