Gillette B2 Red Tip SS Treet Black Beauty blade, day 2 Kell's Rose shave soap Omega 80080 boar brush Thayer's witch hazel with aloe shower L'Occitaine Cade AS splash I give up! I can get a stable-looking lather out of the Kell's soap in the dish. As soon as I put it on my face, it evaporates. I'm going to use it for bath soap, and use the container for some other soap. I added some unscented KMF to the dish, and finished my shave with a decent lather. Three passes, and I'm off to work. Larry

It provided and excellent shave in the Parker razor. Razor: Merkur Progress set at 5 Blade: Feather AC Super Professional Brush: Mason Prototype Soap : P.160 Wash : Burt's Bees Deep Cleansing Cream After: Thayer's Lemon, Alum, Proraso Actually shaved last night at bedtime to save time in the morning. Switched from the AC Pro to the Super Pro. Great shave! I put the old AC Pro blade in the empty side of the razor, edge in, as a shim so it's even. I set it to just 5. I know the Super Pro is thicker than the Pro, but it may be wider as well. I'm not sure if the shim increased, decreased or had no effect on the exposure. I think the thick blade is part of the reason it shaves so well. The Progress has just the right exposure characteristics so I can use this otherwise aggressive blade safely. I might have to put it in my adjustable Schick and give it a try.
