This razor & blade gave an incredibly long lasting smooth shave when I set it aside on 9/19 so I picked it up again. Not the most comfortable- pulled some, but bbs & no irritation.

This is a medium sized brush with a taller loft than the No.55 brush I've been using. That makes it a little bit floppy, but still able to whip a good lather from the Prep soap. Semogue 1520 MWF Merkur 1904 Personna 74 Heartland rosewater/glycerin I soaked the 1520 today and it did a fine job; a scrubby little guy. FYI, Leon at Vintage Scent is selling the 1520 boar knot in the same acrylic handle as the 730 badger; very handsome indeed, and I did order one.
