Russ, Here's a link to Saint Charles Shave. I bought several samples from them and this morning tried the "Lime Aftershave Splash". Great, pure scent going on but, as with most lime, probably not long lasting - I can't comment too much since I also have on the Lime Sec. (If you haven't tried the Lime Sec or Citrus Musk, send me your address and I'll send you a sample.) Back to the SCS - I tried the "Bay Rum with A Twist Aftershave Milk" the other day and it was a fantastic balm. My comment was that I wish the scent was more pronounced, but YMMV. I also got samples of their Coconut and their "Blue Line" Menthol Aftershave - both the balm and splash. I haven't tried these three yet. (Had wanted to get the Blue Line cream but it was out of stock when I ordered.) Seem like high quality products that give a great result. Not sure if the prolonged burn I got was the e/o of their lime, or the combination of that on top of the Mama Bear lime shave. Your not alone, about a year ago I bought a gold finished MicroMatic TTO, which I think Russ calls the bullet point. This one has a straight bar and was bought in mint condition; perfect. I liked using it so much I bought several others: 2 with a plastic handle and straight bar and, 1 TTO type, open comb, with the original hang tag and case, chrome(?) and they are all superb shavers. Although until I adjusted my technique with the open comb, I peeled my face a little the first time using it. I use GEM Stainless and PAL blades. Haven't made up my mind which I prefer. I feel very fortunate to have acquired these pieces of shaving history.
