I have been trying to find a bath soap that is truly moisturizing (along the lines of Mitchell's Wool Fat) AND that has minimal fragrance.
I received some MWF bath soap as a gift, and it makes a very rich, moisturizing lather. The scent is irritating, but if I leave an unwrapped bar in the garage for a couple of weeks before use, it is tolerable. And the scent dissipates from there.
I ordered some Claus Porto soaps in the Grapefruit Fig fragrance, hoping that it would be less irritating. Unfortunately, the fragrance has a very aggressive effect on my olfactory, the soap doesn't lather easily (even in my soft water), and it doesn't seem very moisturizing. (I'm going to have to throw out a $10.00 bar of this soap and give away the 2 others.)
Can anyone tell me which of Giovanni's soaps are the most moisturizing AND the least scented?
