I have a battery-powered Braun single foil razor that I keep around for touch-ups and problem areas like around the nostrils where I am more likely to cut myself or suffer lots of irritation with a blade. It also has a pop-up trimmer that's nice for unruly stray hairs on my head, especially when I am in need of a haircut but am too lazy to get one. It only cost about $12 and works fine for how I use it, but I would never try to shave my entire face with it. The razor burn would be tremendous. If you try one, I say wash your face first, then dry, then shave.
