Coincidentally, I have a Star razor just like yours which I bought off E-Bay about two years ago! Mine happened to be new-old-stock, (NOS) and I think I paid under twenty bucks, including shipping. This has been a wonderful addition to my collection. Like you, I am cray about this razor. If memory serves me correctly, I think I read that Star was in existence before Gillette. Mr. Gillette bought out Star and the rest is history. (If anyone knows a different story, please offer a correction) Since you reminded me that I have one, I think I am going to shave with my Star tomorrow!
