Andy, what's your shaving MO?
Bowl or face lather?
In the past, some find that the trumper violet, brush swirl in pot straight to face, can cause irritation; also if lather up in a bowl but there's still some purple in the lather when you bring it to your face; for them the answer seems to have been more water more meringue less paste, and paint on soap.
