I did go in a circle here.
And that is because I don't want to imply that the original product that Russ used that was sold as a splash should not have been, like Gary did something wrong selling it; and I refer to other products that are sold as a splash that contain even more alcohol as proof.
But I am saying that the Superior 70 green and the Alcolado Relampago are sold as a rubbing alcohol; they are very popular in the neighborhood I grew up in, and some think the menthol works wonders for sore muscles, delivered into the skin by the alcohol. There are also blue alcohol products out there as well, the coloring is purely aesthetic.
Isopropyl alcohol is toxic even through absorption, so I would not recommend its daily use, but that's just me. I have a 10 year old bottle that's 1/2 full, for example.
Grain alcohol is obviously not toxic, and makes a superior jello shot (I've been told)
(Don't do that)
SD Alcohol (or ethyl alcohol, or ethanol) I am told makes a tasty drink as well, but I would never know anything about that.
