After a few weeks with Bics, I figured I'd break out my favorite 40s injector...

injector with bakelite handle
Schick injector blades
generic badger brush
Dove cucumber and green tea soap

The combination of the badger and Dove created more lather than any other soap I've used. Swirling it on, it looked like Foamy. A few paint strokes, and I passed for Santa. A great shave.
