I give up! I can get a stable-looking lather out of the Kell's soap in the dish. As soon as I put it on my face, it evaporates. I'm going to use it for bath soap, and use the container for some other soap.
I added some unscented KMF to the dish, and finished my shave with a decent lather. Three passes, and I'm off to work.
