I had a feeling this might be the consensus, but you never know, so it's always good to ask. I've been keeping the lids off for at least a couple of hours before putting the lid back on, except for creams like Tryphon creams and Taylor for instance, the ones in a tub. I did not know to treat the Cella in a similar fashion to a cream, but I'll do that - thanks Andy.
My biggest fear was getting mold growing on the hard soap or something, but I didn't want to go through an unnecessary step either.
