Yes, this is an aggressive razor, but it can be tamed. It will take a lot of patience and practice, but it's an amazing shaver when you get the hang of it; it will require a couple of weeks of fidelity. I prefer the Gem Blue Star and the Tree SE blades. Keep the head flat on your face and make deliberate, short strokes.
