Gillette Tech razor (gold, thick handle)
Treet Dura Sharp "Classic" blade (carbon steel with PTFE coating)
Rooney Heritage Stubby brush (Medium, Pure Badger)
Institut Karite shaving soap
Thayer's Original Witch Hazel (Astringent: 10% alcohol, no -parabens, no burn)
Brut Splash On Lotion (from the early 1970s)
The Rooney Heritage brush in pure badger is very dense. It has about 10 latherings on it now, so it is starting to break in and I expect that it will continue to do so. I'm getting used to it, and I got a very good lather, but it is still denser than my preference.
Brut is a scent that I liked years ago, and I have had this Splash On Lotion for a long time. I thought I would try a little of it tonight and it's okay, but I'm a little bit uncomfortable with it.
