I've been breaking in the Semogue 1305 and haven't gotten to the 2000 yet. I had been wondering how the 2000 would compare with my Omega 48.
Regarding GA Russell's question about handle size: I have two 2000s, and the handles are a little different from each other, suggesting that they are truly handmade. If you are comparing the handle size to that of the Omega 48 or 49, then it is smaller. If you compare it to most resin handles, it is at least a medium-sized handle. Its shape and added heft contribute to its comfort in the hand. It may be smaller than what you are used to, and it may not be right for you, but I personally wouldn't call it small.
