I seem to have overcome any challenges with the Mama Bear and am getting a great lather consistently now.
Where the Merkur (and anything besides the Slim Adjustable & Fatboy) had been doing enough damaage for my middle son to ask me what I did to my face, this morning I concentrated on technique and got a near-perfect shave -one missed strip on the right side of my neck that's going to drive me crazy all day.
Question: do you make your lather before the hot towel and let it sit in your bowl, or do you make the lather after the hot towel? My compromise the past few days has been to load my brush before, but make the lather afterwards.
