I tried the stainless steel blades out today and think they're the best Gem-type blades I've ever tried. Recommended.

: They're fairly prone to rust, if you just
: shave and put the razor away. I've found
: that you can take the blade out and pat it
: dry on a towel -- it doesn't have to be bone
: dry -- and rust is not a problem. At least
: the blade will get dull before you have to
: worry about it.
:
: Remember, men shaved with carbon steel
: blades for decades without too much drama.
: Considering how much trouble we take over
: other aspects of our shaving around here,
: this isn't THAT big a deal.
:
: At least it's worth trying the razor out.
:
: Hyperwarp also has some stainless Gem blades
: avaiable at his shop. I just got mine and
: haven't had a chance to try them yet.

: I just bought an old GEM junior razor and am
: eager to try it out. I've found the regular
: GEM blades at a local store, but I don't
: think they are stainless steel. Anyone know
: how prone these are to rust? I don't want
: to get them if they are going to be a pain
: to maintain. Thanks!
