They're fairly prone to rust, if you just shave and put the razor away. I've found that you can take the blade out and pat it dry on a towel -- it doesn't have to be bone dry -- and rust is not a problem. At least the blade will get dull before you have to worry about it.
Remember, men shaved with carbon steel blades for decades without too much drama. Considering how much trouble we take over other aspects of our shaving around here, this isn't THAT big a deal.
At least it's worth trying the razor out.
Hyperwarp also has some stainless Gem blades avaiable at his shop. I just got mine and haven't had a chance to try them yet.
