I recently came into possesion of a '90 VTR250 interceptor. The bike ran fine for a few days, then it started to smell like sulfur after a long ride. this would inturn drain the battery. Some one told me that the regulator/rectifer was allowing the battery to be over charged,I have not replaced it. but, i have replaced the battery and still cannot start the bike. checking between the postive and negative battery post on start-up goes from 12.7 volts to 9.50. to make matters even worse, when the ingition switch is turned on i get no headlight or tail,horn,signal,etc. . but if i depress the clucth i get electrical power to these items. the bike is in neutral. it will rotate with clucth pulled in or not . but it just wont fully start. if i go to first gear i get no electrial power,and this is with the clucth pulled in. All fuses check out fine.
PLEASE HELP???
