I've got an '81 XJ650H Maxim in the tool shed. Bought it 2 years ago, and haven't been able to get the title straightened out. Finally did! It needs tires and fork seals, the exhaust is ugly, and I was thinking or rejetting the carbs for K&N aftermarket air filters. Its not hard... the primary jets are the only ones to change, and as for getting it running, its basically just take 'em off, clean 'em up good with carb cleaner (might want to CAREFULLY pull the jets and needle/seat assembly) and put 'em back in.
