Posted by Dean Long How can oil be traveling up the breather tube to the airbox. After noticing the problem I changed the oil and filter, intentionally leaving the oil level 1/2 quart low. Still flowing into the airbox. Can anyone help me?

I just started my bike after letting it sit for about 2 months. As it was idleing it started leaking oil from the bottom of the airbox. When I looked inside the box I saw that there was about an inch of oil in there. I cleaned out the airbox and started the bike again and saw that oil is coming from the crankcase breather tube into the airbox. I asked a mechanic about it and he said to put about a teaspoon of oil into each cylinder and that should stop it. That did not make much sense to me but I tried it anyways to no avail.
