Ignition wire location on 87 750 Kawa

Hi

I am getting no spark .....is there a way I can tap into the system to get a hotwire to the coil somehow ? I just aquired the bike and don't even know if it has points and where the hotwire for the system starts . I culd reall use a wiring diagram .
