Hi You have a short in your selenoid ther is a hot wire that feeds the hot to the starter button and the should be a hot going to the display lites on your dash (red etc) you will have to jump a hot lead to the ignition side of your ignition switch, so it will still be hot when you let off the starter button . That's the pack of wires going to the back of your key switch .
