Cruse,reverse,and Mute Buttons stay depressed

I have a 2002 Honda Goldwing. Today I depressed the reverse button and had the cycle in "N". When hitting the starter button the headlight dimmed or when out, put bike would not back-up. I tryed to release the reverse button, but it will not release. I tryed the cruse and radio mute button and all these will not respond. While the reverse button is depressed, I am not able to move the bike or change gears. Can anyone help?
