I just changed the oil myself, and I do not see an oil level through the site glass as described in the manual. I put in the exact amount of oil called for in the manual, and I noted that the proper amount of oil drained from the crankcase. When I run the bike, I see oil flowing nicely in the site glass. But, when I shut the bike off I do not see an oil level bewteen the lines in the site glass. Once again, I put in three quarts of oil as called for in the manual when changing the oil filter. So, why don't I see an oil level through the site glass?
