Vulcan800 A trouble

I have A vulcan800 year 2003 yesterday it ran good going to work but it shut off on me 5 times coming home.Had to pull over left it sit a couple minutes and pulled choke out and it would start, could only go about 5 - 6 miles and it would do the same thing all over again
