:Hi, I also have charging problems on a '86 Goldwing. I thought the regulator/rectifier was bad and replaced it for $233.00 dollars and it didn't change a thing. The old one wasn't testing right and neither is the new one so my problem is elsewhere. I'll let you know if I figure out something else.
