I had a male from an old line out west that threw the flaw. I neutered him and placed him in a pet home so it wouldn't continue. There are some breeders in south Bama that routinely breed it.
Judges don't seem to give it any notice in the ring however.
The dogs are still just as fast and agile with the short toes.
