Cass-Foster police chief steps down Posted by Boo-Hoo on October 24, 2008, 8:16 am Ahhhhhhh, did the little baby Bowers quit because he couldn't have his way. He was nothing but a headach to many people anyway. Thought he was god with a badge. He's such a little pussy that he sent his big mouth daddy to defend him, ( what the fu(k ) I'm behind Cass Twp all the way in their decision to can this Over Powered township police officer. He wanted total control and he didn't get his way,to bad. Other towns need to follow,like Pt Carbon getting rid of Jon Bowman. Where's John Harley ?  Post a Response in Schuylkill County

I'm no advocate of any police official abusing power, but I thought Bowers was actually improving the township. Perhaps the township went so long without an officer actually enforcing laws, that Bowers' actions seemed overzealous? Who knows? As for Harley, he was a nice guy, but outlived his usefulness, too. I guess we'll have to see how this plays out. I'm curious as to who was charged with the DUI that was allegedly mishandled.
