Dear readers,
I joined this site a few minutes ago, just so i could write up this post. I want to start this off by saying this: If you have a problem with what I'm about to type, please do not reply with an argument. I am not going to argue over a computer. This is my view of the Pottsville wrestling program, and if you dislike it, i honestly dont care. So, Pottsville wrestling... Fun, organized, fair? Yeah, right.. The way this program is run is unbelievable. You would think it was run by a group of elementary students. The head coach on the high school team is one of the most 2 faced people I have ever met. He lies to your face, cheats other faithful members of the team just for one of his friends kids, or for close family of his assistant coach. He punishes team members for defending themselves and their family to other "star" athletes of the team. So many things have been left go in the years, and certain kids, one who graduated last year, and one who is a junior and is currently on the team, have been excused for things that they shouldve been punished for. Urinating in team members water bottles, Stealing from the assosiation, Using tobacco products on school property, Disrespecting and downgrading team members parents.. Let alone the trouble they give the team, they also were constantly in trouble at school. One is graduated and in the army, and the other is now home schooled. These are just a couple things that have happened with these athletes in the past. All these things that happen, yet its just brushed off by coaches, athletic directors, and school authorities. But this isnt all just about the coaches. This is also about school authorities and new parents that are in the wrestling assosiation. Certain vice principles have been unfair to members of the high school team because they are friends with the head coach. It's one thing to be unfair in sports, but to bring it to school is just wrong. And to the parents that recently joined the program, and whose son only started wrestling in high school, get off your high horse. You are not as important to the program as you think. Please,"adults", lets take a big step and finally grow up and be fair. I am sick of the favoritism, and the treatment by everyone. Be equal to everyone, or quit your job. Trust me, you're not getting paid that well anyway. woops.
Sincerely,
