I'm still waiting patiently for one of these cruisers to injure a pedestrian during the event.In hopes that this will finally put an end to this ridiculous outdated form of so called entertainment. Such a waste of resources in so many ways.
This event proves time and time again to be a nuisance for the people that live on the cruise route. The visitors that come to town disrespect peoples personal property,trespass,litter,get disorderly,and on and on I could go.
Such a lame activity,that will prove to be dangerous and costly to the city once a hugh lawsuit is levied against Pottsville,and all the organizer of the event.Jerry included as well as 12 volt douschbag Dave,Eddie Hurst,Bruce Stitum etc.
Someone should start scattering nails all about the cruise route.
If they want to have such events, why don't they display there auto's the way they do in Caralisle Pa. Display areas for all cars that wish to Participate,and event main show area big enough to accomidate Schuylkill Mall parking lot should do nicely. But NO REASON to parade the cars through the city streets and put people at risk. I'm sure you have all seen some of the idiot's that insist on doing burnouts,and just plain reckless driving all around.
Example.Thursday morning after WNEP 16 news did there story from Coney island I witnessed this asshole Harry Zerby take his precious old car what ever it was,a burgandy old hot rod down to the light by sheets and travel across the Pottsville Minersville highway.I was behind him and thats when he put the peddel down driving this car at no less than 100mph up the hill and across the highway,putting many drivers at risk,he was cutting in and out of traffic like a complete fool. Totally inconsiderate of everyone else on the road. I guess he just had to clean her out as they say. I was wishing he would hit something and kill himself.
Where are the gung ho hero police while all this happens? Right at the Turkey Hill drinking there free coffee as usual. But hell,they would be right on your ass if you were to run a yellow light.Our local pigs are a joke,as is this car cruise. I for one hope this year is the last,that somethinng bad enough happens to put the brakes on it once and for all.
