Like everything, there is more to this story than meet's the readers eye and ear. I'm no advocate of any police official abusing power, but I thought Bowers was actually improving the township. Perhaps the township went so long without an officer actually enforcing laws, that Bowers' actions seemed overzealous? Who knows? As for Harley, he was a nice guy, but outlived his usefulness, too. I guess we'll have to see how this plays out. I'm curious as to who was charged with the DUI that was allegedly mishandled. Does anyone know?
