Posted by Lynda on 6/8/2005, 4:14 pm, in reply to "deja-vu and other weirdness." First of all, let me say I am not fully qualified to answer all your questions about what is going on with you. But the things you describe are not altogether unfamiliar to me and I have a few ideas about what MIGHT be going on. I am not a professional psychic, physician or psychologist. I'm just a person with a little life experience. I have some psychic gifts and experiences, but I don't know everything. And I'm not a doctor or a shrink. I DO NOT think that you are crazy. I do think that the experiences you describe could be happening on either a psychic (deja vu, precognition, communication from another entity, etc.,) physical (the fact that you do not remember the images or what the voices said and that you become physically ill,) or psychological (the fact that the experiences seem to be triggered by something you see or something someone says) level. I'll talk about each of these levels one at a time. Psychic (this must be why you posted to this site): I first became aware of my own precognitive dreams (which were in the beginning all nightmares) when I was about 9 years old. I learned, by living through the years ahead, that my dreams were precognitive. I was "looking into the future" as I slept. It was very disconcerting and frightening. The intensity of my feelings about the dreams and of my fear convinced me mentally that these dreams did in fact mean something important in my personal life, and that conviction proved true as time went on. Unfortunatly, being "forewarned" of something does not always mean that we can do something to change the future. What it does mean is that, on some level, we are being prepared to know that we can, in fact, deal with those things we have to face. You do have the strength you need to face it. God is at work in your life to help you. That covers the precognition. Another psychic possibility would be communication from another entity. That entity might be a ghost (a dead person) or it could be a more evil spiritual entity (a demon.) My general feeling about this is that you SHOULD NOT willingly communicate with this particular entity further, if in fact that is what is happening. It's not good for you. It is frightening you and making you feel ill. I'm not really convinced that this is what is happening to you, but if you can, just tell it to go away. The fact that you tell us you have deja vu can be an indication of both psychic and physical issues. Right now, I'll talk about the psychic part. The fact that you experience these feelings in a particular place near your home makes me think you are picking up on some kind of negative energy in that particular spot. Again, my advice would be to avoid that location. Something bad may have happened there at some time in the past or could happen there in the future. If it is yet to happen, you don't want to be there. That covers my ideas on what might be happening psychically. Physically: Deja Vu can sometimes be a symptom of unusual physical activity in the brain. I think you should talk to your parents about some of the things that have happened to you if you can. I don't want you to be afraid. I am not a medical professional by any means and only a doctor can tell whether or not you would be having any of these symptoms that would be unhealthy for you. I'm not qualified to say. But, I have heard of people who have some forms of epilepsy, for instance, who experience deja vu before an attack. Something of that nature might also cause nausea, vomiting and difficulty remembering the things that bring on an attack. But, please remember, only a doctor can diagnose these things. I cannot. That's the physical part that comes to my mind. Psychological: The suddenness of the images and voices coming on and the "triggers" you describe remind me of a condition some people experience when something has happened in their lives that they either do not want to remember or are unable to remember. These things that folks can't remember are usually very hurtful things. Things that are somehow painful to think of. A lot of times people will "repress" those memories. They just never think of them, then something happens to remind them, and they have a "flashback." I've had those too. Again, this is something you need professional help for: a good counselor, a psychologist, a minister, a doctor. It DOES NOT mean that you are crazy!!! If this is what is happening to you, it means you are human and you have human feelings. That's not crazy. Most of all, my general impression of you is that you are a young woman who needs more people to talk to. People you can trust. If you haven't already talked to your friends, your family, your spiritual community (folks at church), you should. You might ask them if they think you should see your doctor. They know you better than I do by far. But I think you are really healthy and very sensitive. If the people in your life brush you off when you try to talk about these things, don't be hurt by it. You are a sensitive person. If they don't understand you, it's probably because they are not as sensitive as you are. They can't help that. But whatever you do, keep communicating with other people. You will find what you need somewhere. I hope this has been of some help. I'm sorry I can't just give you a direct, clear answer. The reality is, I don't know exactly what's going on with you either, but I do know you're not alone in the world with it. This sort of thing happens to a lot of people. Take care of yourself and find someone you can trust!! Remember: Perfect love casts out all fear. Trust and love go hand in hand. Lynda --Previous Message--

Dear Jessica: I see that no one has responded to your message, even though it was sent some time ago. I hope you are still checking in here and are feeling better about things.
: i have a question and i hope someone will
: be able to help me. so far no one has
: understood whats going on with me.
:
: ok, i am 16 years old. when i was 14,
: something weird starting happening. id
: just be talking to my freinds, or by
: myself, anywhere really, and id get
: this horrible undescribable feeling...
: and it would be like triggered by
: something else. (a person saying
: something, a picture, etc) and then a
: bunch of pictures would pop through my
: head, and sometimes voices, and weird
: stuff like that. it would last for 30
: seconds or so and then when it went
: away i could never remember the
: pictures i saw and the voices i heard.
: or anything else. i couldnt remember
: what i was saying or doing at the time
: before the feeling came over me. and a
: lot of time i have thrown up afterward.
: this feeling i have described to you is
: extremely unpleasant, almost scary,
: like something horrible is happening to
: me. it has continued through the last 2
: years or so, but has gotten more and
: more rare. at first it happened like,
: 3 times a day.. now it only happens in
: little sporadic periods of time.
: another thing that has started since
: then is alot of incredibly strong
: deja-vu. i get it very often, all the
: time, and sometimes it is so strong
: that i have literally thrown up. there
: is a certain area near where i live
: that it happens more frequently than in
: others. im starting to think this all
: has something to do with my dreams. or
: the deja-vu part, at least.
:
: whatever this is, it seems urgent that
: i find someone, ANYONE who knows what
: im talking about. i have told alot of
: people i know about this and they all
: thought i was either insane or i was
: just being weird. which i guess it is
: pretty weird. so if anyone knows what
: is going on in my head, please tell me
: what you can, thanks alot.
