Mallicoat Bros. Racing Posted by westcoast on August 1, 2012, 8:37 pm Just an update on the Mallicoat Bros 68 Cuda project. As many of you may know we have been working on the car for eight months changing our engine combo to a twin turbo set-up. Well, we weren't expecting a three month wait for a crankshaft. Today, the motor was put on the dyno at Dutweiler's shop. The engine made over 3,000 hp and was still climbing at 8,000 rpm. We would like to thank Precision Turbo for all their support along with EastWest Clutches, Crane Cams, Red Line Oil. The car is painted an is being assembled as we speak. Should be testing by early September. Mallicoats are no strangers to running twin turbos, after all, they set a national speed record in 1964 and won I think two national events. Also, for the first time ever,N.H.R.A. is going to allow 10 pro-mod cars to run at the California Hot Rod Re-Union.
