We need to deal with reality here, in my opinion. The zoning in the area has noise restrictions. It's not an arbitrary situation. If the noise generated by a facility (a drag strip for instance) is higher than what is permitted in the area, that needs to be addressed by the track. The noise restrictions the track is dealing with were not a secret when the track was moved from the middle of the facility to the outside border of the facility. The noise restrictions were there before the track was there. Breaking (or disregarding) these restrictions is the same as breaking the law. In my opinion, this should have probably been delt with prior to moving the drag strip, and surely before letting alcohol powered, funny car engine equipped Pro Street cars with zoomie headers run down the track.
