well i have won my fair share also. Its not index racing when one car leaves before the other, you might as well get rid of all the indexs and just have two open comp classes.

: You go ron!

: I personally don't care one way or the
: other
: about the tree. I truly am thinking of
: others and what is best for the Association.
: I just won the Super Nationals, have won
: numerous Championships, I can adapt and
: will. The age thing though was stupid, at
: 59 years old I would guess my average light
: is as good (or better) than all the 20 &
: 30 year olds!

: well Ron, maybe the only change that needs
: to
: be made is the tree for mean street to .500
: and leave the rest alone. I like the idea of
: .400 and .500 for open. and for Don damn
: that lasik eye surgery now he sees like a 20
: year old.

: What does old vs. young have to do with it.
: I'm not sure what you guys consider old.
: You better look at the ages of many of the
: Open Comp and index winners and Champions.
: Don is probably one of the oldest out there
: and probably the sharpest on the tree as
: well as many, many others. You guys are
: thinking only of yourselves, your comments
: reflect that. When you start thinking of
: others as well you will start to enjoy life
: a little better!

: I agree. Maybe we can call it GEEZER COMP
: .600
: tree 55+ to enter and aarp. Maybe a 13.60
: index for them. We dont want them going too
: fast as well

: Staggered start in index class sucks .
: Might
: as well just have two open comp classes
: ..500 for the old guys and .400 for the
: professional drivers . Wait then Mel
: wouldn't make $$$$$$$$$$ . Less entries.
: But maybe the races would finish on time
: .Speed says leave it alone .

: The pole is closer than I thought it was.
: I think most are good with two open comp
: classes, but I think most would like to
: leave the index classes as they are except
: .500 in 10.60.
:
: So could we leave the index as they are
: except change 10.60 to .500 tree. Then have
: the two open categories, .400 pro (existing
: format+tow+7.50) and .500 open (new format)?
: Does it replace street muscle or mustang
: open comp?
:
: Just a thought?

: I had a long conservation with a longtime
: PSCA racer and he had some great ideas that
: would make it fair for all and an
: opportunity to attract more racers, possible
: bigger car counts (Then that would lead to
: bigger payouts) and more opportunity for
: racers to run 2 classes with a little bit
: more of a break between them (at least in
: the early rounds)!! Check this out and let
: me know if this can/will work.. It would
: also be the same amount of classes we have
: but have an opportunity to attract more cars
:
: Read them all before responding...
