Bob's last night.
« on: August 29, 2009, 07:49:31 PM »
I decided to wash the bird crap off the Caprice and road trip it in Friday traffic to Burbank to hang out, eat questionable burgers, and see famous people. Oh yeah, I snapped a couple pics with my cell phone.
Max was there. He was mad too. Someone told him the burgers here are fantastic. At least he didn't blow away Big Boy with that sawed off shot gun. This one was made from a 73 Ford Falcon XB. Pretty good too, but not the best I've seen. Sounded nice too. It's still undetermined if the blower was actually functiona
The owner of this C4 Vette was going for a record of Violations. The black duct tape fix on the passenger seat was all I saw wrong with this escapee from Grand Turismo 3.
I found my new work car. Now, if I can just get my boss to cover the $50k asking price
There were three 60's Grand Prix's there last night. A 63 coupe with a 428, 4 spd, 8 lugs; a 64 GP coupe with a 421, 3-2's and bright yellow paint, and this 64 Convertible.
Things were quieting down around 10 pm when Leno showed up in his bright green Duesenberg. A crowd enveloped and he didn't get ten feet from his car. He was taking pics and answering stupid questions for an hour before splitting. This is all the closer I got. Sorry, the pic I took of the car was really blurry.
This is the dash of Leno's Duesey. All those gauges work. The gas gauge has gas in it!!. The clock worked and was accurate
Christopher Titus also showed up in his Foose built 56 Chevy. He had his kids with him and was trying to be as low key as possible.
