I agree with Ronnie, this poll is to help Mell with car counts.I see about 50% of the index racers CAN'T RUN the index at Vegas in the Hot months.I see raising the index at Vegas .3 a win win decision for everyone, more car count we DON'T loose the index classes or loose PSCA.

: In most of this tread of comments everyone is
: discussing the wrong issues. Most of us
: that run one of the index classes know how
: to slow our cars down to get close to the
: number. The problem is there are a number
: of cars that can't run .60 during bad
: conditions. Some of them may be off 2 or 3
: tenths in Vegas and most of you how much it
: can cost to get a car to run that much
: quicker. (With the economy being the way it
: is let's try and help Mel get the car count
: up not down). If we factor in for example 3
: tenths we will probably pick up a few more
: cars in each class. It sounds like a win win
: situation for everyone except those cars
: that can run the number anywhere and prefer
: not to have bigger car counts (more cars
: harder to win). We can all slow our cars
: down another .3, we already do it when we
: come to Vegas. I don't see the down side.
