Hey Ron I understand what you are saying,i'm all for it,if it increases the car counts.I was one of the guys that fell off the number in Vegas and that was caused by some changes we made to try and pickup some in the bad air,we were just one hit away from finding our happy spot!I don't complain and have never but I feel that if we can get better test sessions, meaning more than 2 hits & in the heat of the day where most of us are affected it would make a big difference. As I said earlier if it increases car counts i'm with it because i'm gonna race no matter what, index factor or not,i still have my unit in the garage and i'm not scared to use it!lol

: In most of this tread of comments everyone is
: discussing the wrong issues. Most of us
: that run one of the index classes know how
: to slow our cars down to get close to the
: number. The problem is there are a number
: of cars that can't run .60 during bad
: conditions. Some of them may be off 2 or 3
: tenths in Vegas and most of you how much it
: can cost to get a car to run that much
: quicker. (With the economy being the way it
: is let's try and help Mel get the car count
: up not down). If we factor in for example 3
: tenths we will probably pick up a few more
: cars in each class. It sounds like a win win
: situation for everyone except those cars
: that can run the number anywhere and prefer
: not to have bigger car counts (more cars
: harder to win). We can all slow our cars
: down another .3, we already do it when we
: come to Vegas. I don't see the down side.
