I see that a track back east just created this new rule, and after thinking about the number of times I hear announcements at our events, realized that it could happen to us. My old crew chief will never make it walking, so lets all start being a little more proactive regards who/how our pit vehicles are being driven.

NEW GOLF CART POLICY

Due to the many unfortunate accidents that have happened here involving golf carts, or other motorized off road vehicles, we will NO longer allow anyone to enter this park with a golf cart, or other motorized off road vehicles, either driven or on a trailer or truck bed, etc. There will be no exceptions, absolutely none. If you are handicap we have wheel chair access to all areas so please make arrangements to have that availability for yourself. If you are a racer, the only golf cart, or other motorized off road vehicle that will be allowed is if it is a tow vehicle and located on your race trailer. This policy will be strictly enforced at the gate so please do not attempt to enter with a golf cart or any other motorized off road vehicle. This includes any type of motorized vehicle, including but not limited to ATV, 4-wheelers and scooters.
