good luck carey. fellow freestyle friends, i write now in searck of information. with a piece of paper now in hand i look to take one or two years off and enjoy myself before pursuing another one. while i first considered teaching, i realized such tasks would take their toll and i would be left without the energy needed to engage my true calling, my own projects. i need a job which will be more fun than not, preferably outdoors even in the mountains. so, i have decided that if i teach ski lessons for two years i will enjoy myself and am now looking for an area in which to live for a short time. jackson hole seems favorable geographically, as i have never been to that region of the country and after some research am attracted by its splendor. and it seems as though there is an art community there. one site explains there are a couple dozen art galleries in the town. i am looking for good skiing and humans my age with whom i can communicate about things such as art and perhaps even with them participate in artistic acts - making music, etc.. as you guys - and that means you kendrcik, stocker, langleys, etc. know a lot more about the ski world - i hope you might provide some input as to what areas i might consider. of course i am looking for good skiing - but my greatest interest is in finding an area wherein i will be most likely to interact with individuals sharing interests similar to mine.
